AUTxcapes is a vacation experience dedicated to serving the Autism Community. A special space, designed to bring safety, relaxation, fun, and quality time to families.
Our Mission
The AUTxcapes team is made up of 3 passionate members who work closely with autistic individuals and their families. After seeing the busy schedules of the families we see day to day, the limited places for them to relax and unwind, and hearing "I wish we could go on vacation", they wanted to help find a solution. This is how AUTxcapes was born. From the moment the keys to the home were handed over, the team has had one goal in mind; to provide a safe vacation experience that allows a family with Autistic children to escape the busy daily schedules.

Relaxation
Relaxation is an essential focus at AUTxcapes. To best serve those on the spectrum and their families, we have a variety of sensory items and equipment. This includes lighting and sound accommodations, with an added low sensory area. Additionally, parents have also been a focal point in the design of this home with several areas and amenities curated just for them.
Community
AUTxcapes is located in the heart of the High Desert in Yucca Valley, California, just minutes away from Joshua Tree. Although the home is designed to be a peaceful escape it is conveniently located near a variety of delicious restaurants, supermarkets, and recreational activities. Your family can walk, hike, and explore the scenic views of The Joshua Tree National Park, with the nearest entrance less than 15 minutes away from the home. If you are visiting on a Saturday, our AUTxcapes team highly recommends the Joshua Tree Farmers Market, home to a variety of fresh and local produce.
